Starting with DJ’ing and later exploring production and vocals, he grew up surrounded by diverse musical influences in a household where his parents frequently played various genres. Influenced by artists like Msaki, The Muffins, and Bholoja, ALXAPO found his passion for making hip-hop beats using FL Studio, initially as a hobby for his rapper friends. Evolving into a producer, beatmaker, and lyricist in his own right, his musical evolution continued through collaborations with artists such as TYLER ICU , Musa Keys, Mellow & Sleazy, and others, exposing him to genres like RnB, neo-soul, Afro-jazz, Afro-soul, and his current focus, Amapiano. With Amapiano's broad scope, ALXAPO blends dance, soulful, smooth, and unique melodies, making him one of the distinctive producers in today's music scene.
