We are a privately owned local small business, with a mission to increase Shop Local/Dine Local/Support Local social awareness, and positively influence LOCAL buying habits and spend. Newburyport.com is differentiated from other hyper-local websites in that we do more than just provide information. We also offer a product that helps connect the community to our small businesses and nonprofits. The Newburyport VIP Card rewards customers with discounts EACH TIME they visit participating local businesses and encourages everyone to “SUPPORT LOCAL” in a collective effort to “help make a difference” for our small business owners. Through the sale of VIP Cards, the program helps raise money for our 23 local nonprofit partners, donating 40% of sale to these organizations.
