The Investments & Wealth Institute®, established in 1985, is a nonprofit professional association and credentialing organization with more than 12,000 individual members and certificants worldwide. The Institute's mission is to deliver premier investment, wealth and retirement management credentials and world-class education. Since 1988, Investments & Wealth Institute has offered the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) certification, which is accredited by the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB), to meet international standards (ISO 17024) for personnel certification. The Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) certification is suited for wealth management professionals working with high-net-worth clients. The Institute also offers the Retirement Management Advisor® (RMA®) certification, which provides advanced retirement income education. The Institute also hosts many live, virtual and online events, as well as, providing continuing education opportunities.
