Welcome! My name is Joy King. I write variations of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice as J. Dawn King and Christie Capps. Why? Because I love Mr. Darcy and Miss Elizabeth Bennet with all their excellent qualities and their flaws. I simply cannot get enough of them. Creatively changing their circumstances is my greatest delight. Reading/writing sprints of various lengths are provided with a five-minute break in between (unless the sprint is a single increment of time). Much can be accomplished by you during the retreats. So sit back, relax, and read or write.
