About

For over 21 years, this powerhouse female group has elevated maskandi to new heights, earning the title "Queens of Maskandi Music" in South Africa. Hailing from Kwa-Zulu-Natal, a province rich in musical talent—Izingane ZoMa has boldly carved out their space in a traditionally male-dominated genre, making waves both locally and internationally. The group features Thandoluni Phungula on lead vocals, alongside Bongekile Ngobese and Xoli Buthelezi. Their success is further fueled by the creative support of the Mayise brothers, Busani and Shobeni, and Mqapheleni Magubane, the masterminds behind their captivating compositions and productions.
