Hello! I'm Michael Perry, but you may know me as Mr Plant Geek. Why the name? Well, I love plants - all that they are and everything that they do. From plants that dance, to plants that devour insects. From the age of five, I've had an overwhelming passion for plants and gardening. Over the course of my childhood, teenage years and into adulthood, I developed into the self-professed Plant Geek that I am today. It's thanks to my horticultural obsession that I was listed in the Sunday Times' 'Top 20 most influential people in the gardening world', whilst working as a plant hunter for Thompson & Morgan (It was at T&M that I introduced the Egg and Chips plant and the FuchsiaBerry!) I travel the world, searching for new plants and lecturing through my Weird & Wacky Plants Tour.
