Tone Purzycki created Trap Door in 2015 when he opened his first location in Red Bank NJ. In 2017 he opened a 2nd location in Morristown, NJ and then a third in Bartonsville PA in 2018. All locations expanded till summer of 2023, when flooding shut down two new attractions in Red Bank and then two months later a fire destroyed 4 attractions in the Poconos. The team proved that although the buildings were not fireproof, Trap Door was, and out of the ashes, they immediately began rebuilding in new venues. First to open is The Wonderland Madhouse at the Pocono Premium Outlets in Tannersville, PA. Then Madness Distillery, with its line of Spirits hand crafted by Tone and his team open a massive event space in Brodheadsville, PA. The team is also on the road often, bringing Team Building events and activities to companies in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and even Maryland.
