Appalachian cooking inspired by my heritage that influenced my own cooking style. Many recipes have been passed down for four generations. These recipes have been adapted to enable you to make down home meals for your family.I have created recipes that reflect a variety of cultural influences too. I am a home cook. Home cooking was instilled in me by my grandmother, Wilma. I learned how to cook by watching her create meals from scratch, while sitting on a white metal stool in her kitchen. I was lucky enough to experience both worlds: seeing farm animals and gardens grow on my great grandfathers's farm and small city life. Hope you enjoy my videos.
