His music is infused with conscious rap that relates to the plight of a kid growing up in the hood, but having the insight to see the paradox in what he was raised to believe. One of his biggest messages is to just be yourself in a world that always wants you to be someone else. Some of his biggest influences are J.Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Young Thug, early/late Kanye, Lil Wayne, and majority of ATL. Bailz is also heavily influenced by the R&B world where he will harmonize and sing in the background of his songs, or attempt to bring an old-skool R&B chorus to the new generation of music. In his own words "only reason I didn't pursue R&B was because i was ugly, and by the time I went through puberty I could not hit a high note gracefully.
