SHOFAR is Hebrew for “Ram’s Horn.” We have chosen this word to characterize this ministry for a specific reason. A Ram’s Horn is a trumpet empowered by one’s breath. Biblically, it was sounded to call God’s people to attention and to alert them of HIS PRESENCE. Breath in Hebrew is the word “Ruach” which means “Spirit” thus, the Ministry of Shofar is a Bible Study governed by the “Breath or Spirit of GOD!" Our Purpose: To teach Scripture with a strong emphasis on it's cultural and historical context and to impart a fuller understanding of the Hebraic side of our faith.
