Levine Cancer Institute's Department of Supportive Oncology combines comprehensive clinical services, unique educational programs, and novel research to improve the lives of cancer patients. Our team includes experts from Palliative Medicine, Integrative Oncology, Cancer Rehabilitation, Oncology Nutrition, Cancer Survivorship, PsychoOncology, Senior Oncology, & Patient Navigation. The Dept of Supportive Oncology has received international recognition from the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) as North Carolina's only "Designated Centre of Integrated Oncology & Palliative Care"; the Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC) as the 1st in the US to receive the "MASCC Designated Center of Excellence in Supportive Care in Cancer", and the 1st in the US to receive the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF International) for "Interdisciplinary Outpatient Medical Rehabilitation for Cancer".
