We are Mari & Lena, two mostly sane Brighton mums. This channel was conceived on a rainy, winter evening. The kids were playing upstairs. We were drinking gin and talking, some might call it ranting, about how unrealistic picture most mummy vlogs painted about parenting, and particularly motherhood. How they would make normal mums feel like failures just because they didn’t bake their own flapjacks or have a yoga-toned arse of steel. How most kids behaved like little brats when you shoved them in front of a camera. Or was it just tired, old us? So old in fact that the medical term for us (and everyone falling pregnant over the grand old age of 35) is GERIATRIC mothers. What was that about?!, we asked and moved on to wine.
