Hey everyone, I'm Sav! And this is Lagom Eats! I am a self-taught home cook. A couple of years ago, I didn't know much about cooking. Then, I met the man of my dreams! I found out rather quickly that the way to his heart is DEFINITELY through his stomach. So I taught myself how to cook. Lagom Eats is designed to be a one-stop site for home cooks like myself to learn yummy recipes and have step-by-step videos to guide them along the way! My husband is Swedish and his family talks about this word lagom quite a bit. There is no perfect translation in English, but it roughly translates to "just right". Lagom is all about balance. The Swedes emanate this so well. They work hard, but also make time to enjoy the things they love. Cooking is my way to relax and forget all the stress of work, school and life in general. I pour myself a glass of wine, turn up the music and cook! I hope that I can help others find joy in cooking and encourage them to live a more lagom life as well.
