OSAC is the voice of disability self-advocacy in Oregon. We bring together self-advocates to have a unified voice about issues that affect their lives. OSAC supports local self advocacy groups and OSAC members to take action in their communities. We engage individuals and communities in advocating for the rights of people with intellectual/developmental disabilities. We advocate for the equal rights of people with disabilities. We fight for self-determination and full inclusion in society. We develop programs to help further the advancement of people with disabilities. Our goal is to impact legislation affecting people with disabilities. We aim to be the model self-advocacy group in the disability community.
