Hi! I’m Michaela – lover of all things home, seeker of the simple life, and an old soul at heart. I’ve been in love with the home ever since I was a little girl, but it took until I was already nearly finished with college to realize I wanted to be a homemaker. I’m an old soul at heart and love creating beauty and being inspired. I’m a homestead wannabe (or, as I like to call it – homestead lite) and have dreams of having a bit of land and a large garden. For now, though, I am focused on learning skills right where I am at - and I want to bring you along! Now that my dream of being a homemaker has become a reality, I want to encourage other women who are looking to build up their homes – with food from scratch, simple living, and beautiful homemaking for the old soul.
