About

WADHWANI RESEARCH CENTRE FOR BIOENGINEERING is a world-class translational research centre at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. WRCB supports faculty across various departments of IITB in undertaking breakthrough interdisciplinary translational research and technology commercialization. WRCB was established in 2014 with a generous philanthropic donation from the Wadhwani Foundation. It is an inter-departmental virtual centre of IIT Bombay. WRCB supports technology translation and commercialization in the four core focus areas of Diagnostics, Therapeutics, MedTech and Synthetic Biology. Over 60 faculty members from the different departments of the institute have been supported by the centre.
