Hi, my name is Julie. I am an artist and have a small apothecary called The Still Room, hence the name of this channel. I began to make my own junk journals in 2021. People started to notice them and I had some great feedback, so I decided to start YouTube channel with a view to making creative videos and hopefully include tutorials in the future. I have worked as a professional artist and teacher for over 20 years, and found myself slowing down due to chronic illness in the last few years. Like many creatives making journals and books, my passion is nature and so this may be a theme you see time and again as I create. This channel is for people who like to journal and book making, book binding, junk journaling, slow stitch, art, sewing, crafting and creative content.
