About

Warn Torn is more than a name—it’s a battle cry. The voice behind the music is J. Shannon, an Army veteran from Greenville, Ohio, who turned his scars into songs and his truth into a sound nobody can ignore. Blending the soul of Southern country with the weight of hard rock and the punch of hip-hop, Warn Torn is carving his own lane with unapologetic grit and gut-punching honesty. His inspiration runs deep—from the raw acoustic pain of Brantley Gilbert and Aaron Lewis, to the emotional weight of Staind, to the anthemic, heavy-hitting energy of early 2000s hard rock and metal. Think gritty vocals, real stories, and zero sugarcoating. Whether it’s a stripped-down ballad or a genre-bending rap-metal banger, every song hits like a truth bomb—built for those who’ve been through hell and came back louder. Warn Torn’s music is for the forgotten, the unheard, the ones still fighting demons with nothing but fire in their chest. This ain’t polished pop. This is raw, real, and ready for war.
