Diagnosed with gestational diabetes in my first pregnancy in 2017, I became obsessed with gathering data about my own blood sugar and with what I was feeding my kids. Research said that due to my condition, my boys and I were now at an increased risk of developing diabetes earlier in life. Since then, I've calmed down and am now able to approach our entire family's health in a more balanced and convenient way that fits into our routine and lifestyle. It's not about perfection but progress, and my belief is that even one meal approached with an intentionality is better than none. So subscribe if you'd like to follow along in my journey!
