Welcome to the Moonshot Channel. The focus here is on using the engineering design process to solve tough "moonshot" problems, using technologies like machine learning, 3d printing and micro-controllers. There are so many awesome tutorials out there on how to use the latest and greatest neural network architecture to solve a specific problem, but I just don't see enough discussion around the process that led to these solutions, and in my experience, the time taken to write your final code to solve some particular problem represents a small fraction of the total work. What other algorithms did they consider, and why did they pick this one specifically, or that data source vs this other one? I take a step back here, and try to instead show how machine learning and other technologies can be used as tools within a more generalized approach to problem solving. Hopefully, this will help some people who are interested in becoming engineers to get a better sense of what engineering entails.
