Bruno Straus is a filmmaker who was born in Torrance, CA and was raised in Redondo Beach, CA, Park City, UT, and St. Petersburg, FL. His directorial debut, '1 Versus 100' was accepted into the International Filmmakers Showcase Film Festival (IFS) in 2019 and screened in Los Angeles. Bruno received distribution deals from Ariztical Films and All Channel films shortly after. Bruno wrote a screenplay with comedian Brent Weinbach called 'Fasle Awakenings' which won the Spirit of Los Angeles Award from the Los Angeles International Film Festival. Bruno produced, edited, and was cinematographer on the experimental feature film, 'Brother Side of the Wake' which screened in New York, Ann Arbor, and Los Angeles. In 2023, Bruno legally changed his last name from Kohfield-Galeano to Straus, which was his grandmother Eva's last name.
