Beyond Dieting is hosted by Mimi and Lee. We are two best friends who decided to build a company to help you get what you truly want and deserve. We discovered that your self image, body image and relationship with yourself needs to heal before - and so that - you have the energy, bandwidth and confidence to move forward with your dreams. Digging a little deeper we found that the Diet Industry and Diet Culture together have the net effect of disempowering women. Diet culture is premised on the assumption that something is wrong with you if you are at a higher weight. And, of course, what is "higher" for you will differ from what is "higher" for someone else! And this is how the diet industry and diet culture impacts almost everyone in the US - regardless of their actual weight. On this channel, we hope to spread an anti-diet message and help you find ways to free yourself so that you can find your best weight (and life) without ever dieting again!
