Your Hound from the Sound. I'm a rockhounder and a lover of all rocks and nature. I live in WA State in the PNW. I am a member of the Kitsap Mineral and Gem Society. And I am always seeking to learn more about this wonderful world we live in and it's treasures. I hunt along the shores, streams and rivers in my area for jasper, agates, carnelians, quartz crystals and banded quartz, jade, chert, epidote, fluorite, chalcedony, hematite, opal, and petrified wood just to name a few. But I mostly find a variety of jasper on my hunts. I have a tile saw I use to cut and shape them. I have tumblers for tumbling. I polish them and wire wrap them mainly for gifts. I also take plain ordinary rocks and paint them turning them into beautiful pieces of art. I truly love all things rock! Hope you enjoy my adventures and I inspire you to go on some of your own.
