It was a dream location to learn & live. I then moved to the modest Moat Cottage, 1/6th of an acre including the structures. Refusing to give up the homesteaders lifestyle, I discovered that so much can be achieved on a backyard homestead & I encourage you to learn & expand your skills and experience. PRESERVE THE HARVEST by pressure canning, water bath canning, dehydrating, fermenting, pickling & freezing as well as COOKING in the homestead kitchen.
