Providing training and public information to health professionals across the nation The Alabama Public Health Training Network (ALPHTN) is a division of the Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH). ALPHTN utilizes a variety of distance learning technologies to reach public and allied health employees throughout the state and the country. The Alabama Public Health Training Networks was formally established in 1992 in collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and is a nationally recognized provider of public health training and education programs. Ten production and support employees apply more than 125 years of combined experience working in broadcast media to produce an average of 60 satellite conferences and live webcasts every year.
