Skidompha Public Library is the national award-winning library with the curious name in a town few have ever heard of. Here is our online home for videos taken by or about the library, and features our "Chats with Champions" program. This popular program brings outstanding members of the literary world, arts and sciences to Skidompha to present programs that are free and open to the public. While the series' emphasis is on top-notch authors, programs often appeal to those interested in the liberal arts in general. Traditionally, Chats are held monthly at 10:00 am, on the first Thursday, but days, times, and even venue, may vary according to the availability of "champions." Additionally, bonus Chats are frequently scheduled when the opportunity to engage additional notables arises.
