The Cancer in Young People in Canada/ Cancer Chez les Jeunes au Canada program (CYP-C / CCJC) is a collaborative effort between the C17 Council and the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC). The purpose of CYP-C / CCJC is to contribute to the control of cancer in children and adolescents in Canada by collaborating in the collection, analysis, interpretation and dissemination of Canadian population based surveillance data. This population-based study is carried out at the 17 Canadian pediatric hematology/oncology centres. Data is collected on diagnosis, treatment and short-term (5 year) outcome of children and adolescents less than 15 years of age.
