Alyssa Gagarin is the founder & owner of Meal Prep Chef. She's a TV food host having appeared with Food Network, NBC New York Live, ABC's The Chew, Shape Magazine, and Refinery29. Alyssa’s passion for nutrition and food is what ignited her to entrepreneurial spirit to start Meal Prep Chef. She believes that eating home cooked meals made from real, whole, unprocessed foods is the simplest way anyone can improve their health and overall well being. You can also cook along with her on the Food Network Kitchen app! Originally from Bethesda, MD, Alyssa now lives happily in nyc with her two loves: her fiance, Greg, and their dachshund, Bucatini. She is obsessed with Titanic, maryland crabs, and musical theatre (she holds a bfa in musical theatre from Penn State University).
