It is and always will be my Immortal beloved. From a young age I understood that it had the ability to cause tremendous joy, as well as devastating heartache. Laughter and tears in the same perpetual motion, as the world swirls around all of us in an omnipotent vortex of love. Music has the power to drift us back to memories of the past, ground us with strength in the present, while also inducing catacombs of daydreams towards the future. As each of us age and grow and change, songs that had meaning at a point of our existence, may mean and inspire a completely different perspective at a later age, but also could be an entirely different story told to the next set of ears to embrace that very same song.
