The Educational Advancement Foundation is a 501(c)3 philanthropic organization that supports the development and implementation of inquiry-based learning at all educational levels in the United States, particularly in the fields of mathematics and science, and the preservation and dissemination of the inquiry-based learning methodology inspired by Dr. R.L. Moore (1882-1974), famed professor of mathematics at The University of Texas at Austin. The affiliated Legacy of R.L. Moore Project works towards ensuring that the well-recognized benefits of the Moore Method, and other inquiry-based learning methods, are made available to every student.:
