About
Todd Deatherage started blending his love of old school country, folk, and indie-rock in his hometown of Dallas, TX. After years of compiling songs, he recorded a disc, Dream Upon a Fallen Star, which was released in 2001 on Texas-indie label, Summerbreak Records. Old 97s frontman, Rhett Miller, is featured on a track. He then moved to Brooklyn, NY for the next five years, where he became inundated with the NYC rock scene. In 2006, he finished an EP with UK producer Damien Mendis, who has had hits with Electric Six and The Gorillaz, and Mike Daly of Whiskeytown. He now resides outside of Detroit in Ann Arbor, MI and is currently touring nationally in support of the release. Plans for the next full length are underway. This channel serves as an avenue to debut the new songs for the record in their simplest, truest form : one voice, one guitar. Stay tuned as the songs develop into studio productions and finished product.
