Hello WONDERFUL person! If you are new here, WELCOME ! My name is Barbara. I am italian and I live in a little village in Austria with my husband, 2 kids, cats, ducks , rabbits and chickens. We live surrounded by forest, hills and vineyards and we lead a simple life in contact with nature and the rhythm of the seasons. In 2010 we started this journey with the aim of transforming an old Austrian Vierkanthof, abandoned for years, into a comfortable home. Now we live in an almost self sustaining home , with photovoltaic and solar units and wood heating system. In this channel I share with you my simple and ordinary life in the countryside; spending time in the nature, cooking, gardening, painting and crafting; and my JOURNEY to become a better person and find happiness and fullfilment in simple things, being grateful for what i have.
