Kandle is a Canadian alt-rock artist, producer, and creative director known for cinematic songwriting, emotionally raw performances, and a fiercely independent vision. Originally from Vancouver Island and now based in Montréal, she blends dark pop, post-punk, and new wave into a sound that is both intimate and expansive. Her work has been featured by Billboard, VICE, NYLON, FLARE, and ELLE, establishing her as a distinctive voice in modern alternative music. A Juno Award nominee and Prism Prize winner, she has released multiple acclaimed projects and built a reputation for immersive live shows and cinematic world-building. She has collaborated with artists including July Talk, Killing Joke, Cœur de Pirate, Sam Roberts, Jack White, Half Moon Run, and Apashe. Her 2024 album Danger To Dream marked a new artistic chapter, followed by “Creation of Poison” on Hidden Pony Records.
