I am a passionate attorney who represents the people of Charleston, South Carolina for injuries they receive in car wrecks, accidents, on the job injuries, medical malpractice, trucking accidents, motorcycle accidents, bicycle accidents, and any other tort claim under the sun. I worked for a large, local firm and came to the realization that firms such as that one and other larger firms were selling out their clients because they settled cases in volume. Large law firms, or "mills," as they are known in the industry, do not get the best results for their clients because they value number of settlements over the quality of the result. What's more insurance companies are well aware of large law firm tendencies and pay less for claims submitted by those firms as a result. Their business model does the legal profession a disservice and I feel the people of South Carolina deserve a better quality of representation, where they are the focus of the lawyer's practice.
