Fake Review Watch is dedicated to exposing the massive corruption of online consumer review platforms with fake reviews and the culpability of the big tech companies in facilitating and covering up this fraud. It is run by Kay Dean, a former federal criminal investigator, who has conducted an in depth investigation over five years into fake reviews on Yelp, Google, Facebook, Trustpilot, and other review sites. Kay's research has been the focus of fake review stories appearing on the following: NPR, CBC's national evening news, Washington Post, Mashable, NBC affiliates in Los Angeles, Indianapolis and the Bay Area, Vice News, CTV News Toronto, 9 News Australia, Time Magazine, Fox 26 Houston, NBC Today, Australia's A Current Affair, and InvestigateTV.
