Our Mission - Moving food where it’s needed. EastWest Food Rescue supports farmers, prevents crop waste, and provides food for free to relief and community organizations for anyone needing food assistance.  Beginning in May 2020 by volunteers in Washington state to rescue crops from being destroyed and to feed their neighbors in need during the coronavirus pandemic, EWFR has in 5+ months saved and distributed more than 12 million pounds of food to over 400 organizations, now serving people in 10 states.  EastWest Food Rescue is volunteer-led and a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
