Established in 1988, TEFAF is widely regarded as the world’s pre-eminent organization for fine art, antiques, and design. TEFAF runs two Fairs internationally, TEFAF Maastricht, covering over 7,000 years of art history, and TEFAF New York, focused on modern and contemporary art, and the world of design. TEFAF gives international dealers the platform to present museum-quality works of all eras and genres to a broad base of collectors, connoisseurs and broader art market. In addition to its annual TEFAF Maastricht fair in March at the MECC (Maastricht Exhibition & Congress Center) in the Netherlands, TEFAF expanded to the United States in October of 2016, presenting an additional Fair, TEFAF New York. Held in the historic Park Avenue Armoury each May, TEFAF New York, has now become part of the global art center of New York City.
