Welcome to Outdoors Inspiration. This channel is run by Shamus McCaffery, an outdoors enthusiast with comprehensive polar travel experience from aircraft to dog teams. I have worked as a search and rescue specialist for over 20 years. Currently living, working and playing on Dartmoor where I was once a mountain rescue search dog handler and have been a moorland guide / instructor for over a decade. This channel is dedicated to a variety of outdoor experiences around Dartmoor and elsewhere; wild camping adventures with gear reviews and step by step guides, walking, backpacking, running, navigation, climbing, safety and the ten tors expedition topped off with professional photography experience. As a keen dog trainer, I incorporate my canine friends and experiences on my travels.
