I thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail in 2024 and the Colorado Trail in 2025 as well as many smaller trails in between. I test hiking and outdoor gear in real adventures — long trails, swamps, and places it was never meant to go — so you don’t have to. I’m the guy behind I Suck at Hiking — a channel built on learning the hard way. I’ve thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail (2024) and the Colorado Trail (2025), and I’m out hiking or backpacking almost every month.
