JFUNK is a dynamic six-piece psychedelic funk ensemble that seamlessly blends world clarinet genres with influences from Bossa Nova, Cumbia, Salsa, and Afro-Caribbean rhythms. Originating as Jerusafunk at Northern Arizona University, our sound has evolved over ten years of travel and exploration, now featuring intricate polyrhythms, complex forms, and a horn section with effects pedals, making us a unique presence at festivals and experimental music venues worldwide.
