Hi friends! I'm Day, or Daycia, a content creator, travel storyteller, and photographer. My travel journey began in 2012 when I studied abroad in Nagoya, Japan. That experience sparked a deep love for travel, culture, and connection. In 2017, I booked a one-way ticket back to Asia, made a quick stop in NYC, and then headed back to Japan. From there, I moved to Thailand and later South Korea, where I taught English for three incredible years. I returned to the U.S. in 2021, but my heart always knew the journey wasn’t over. Now, it's June 2025, and my husband and I are back on the road with one-way tickets and big dreams. We’re slow traveling through Asia, starting in Japan, and sharing every moment of this journey with you. I believe in meaningful travel, cultural immersion, and building community wherever we go. This channel is where I’ll share behind-the-scenes stories, travel tips, daily adventures, and thoughtful reflections as we explore the world one beautiful day at a time.
