Pushing Boundaries While Preserving Heritage. FROM MEDICINE TO MUSIC When I began this journey, I was torn between two careers – medicine and music. I never thought I could do both until I realized I was handed a unique opportunity. By combining my knowledge of medicine and my love of music, I discovered I could bring something new and fresh to the community, initiating change via awareness (which led me to write the song Apni Jaan). My lifelong passion for pushing boundaries while preserving Punjabi culture helped me realize my true calling; to deliver messages through Creative Arts, that may be of help to others. COMBINING TWO PASSIONS Staying true to the authenticity of the Punjabi culture is at the core of everything I produce. When I create, I honor the style of music and song at the heart of Punjabi heritage. This is who I am; this is how I want to contribute.
