About

This channel is dedicated to cultural subjects of historical and literary content. It has a cycle of short lectures about the Middle Ages (there is an Italian and an English edition), a cycle about Latin poetry (for the moment there is an Italian edition, but an English one is foreseen), a cycle about the history and momuments of Milano (in English), a cycle (for the moment only in Italian) about Minoans and Micenaeans, another one (for the moment only in Italian) about the the rise of Rome, etc. My aim is to promote understanding of poorly known historical facts, texts and authors, by putting them in their historical and cultural context. I focus entirely on historical accuracy in explaining the connection between ideas, material conditions and historical facts. Welcome to my channel and thank you for your interest!
