Welcome to the secondary YouTube channel for the Nova Scotia Legislature. This channel is maintained for simultaneous broadcast and backup. The Legislature is composed of the Lieutenant Governor, the Queen’s representative, and the House of Assembly, the elected body of representatives. Together they form the legislative branch of government. There are 51 Members of the House of Assembly representing 51 electoral districts. The Assembly meets at Province House in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Legislative proceedings are produced by Legislative Television Broadcast and Recording Services.
