South Texas Lighthouse for the Blind is a private, non profit organization and was founded in 1964 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Our mission is to provide employment opportunities for people who are blind or visually impaired. We employ individuals in manufacturing, retail services, and administration who are blind or visually impaired. At our two manufacturing locations - one in Corpus Christi and one in Victoria, Texas, we manufacture a variety of products for the federal government under the AbilityOne program. These products include over 350 varieties of three ring binders, index tabs, mousepads, and flyers gloves. We also operate base supply stores at multiple military installations.
