Vocalist and entertainer Lua Hadar moves from concert to club to stage, switching languages and styles at will. She's been compared to comedienne Martha Raye; and to singers Abbe Lane and Nana Mouskouri. With her band Twist, she performed in her native NYC at the Iridium, The Cornelia Street Café, and at Somethin’ Jazz, following the band's international debut at the Bangkok International Festival of Dance & Music, Thailand. Her Concert Film, Like A Bridge, was nominated for an Independent Music Award, screening at San Francisco’s Historic Balboa Theater. Hadar appeared in Paris twice at the Swan Bar Montparnasse, and in 2023 at Osmoz Cafe Montparnasse. She has taught master classes on the Great American Songbook in Lille, France. Lua has played the San Francisco Bay Area’s best venues with Twist, including Yoshi's Jazz Club, The Fairmont Hotel and Robert Mondavi Winery, including French and Italian-themed shows.
