This channel is primarily set up for people interested in Antarctica to see what it is like living and working in one of the most inhospitable places on earth. Most of the footage was taken by Graeme or other members of the K055 team at the University of Canterbury. Graeme has over 30 years of association with Antarctic research and has visited the ice more than 20 times. Many of the videos presented are ideal for viewing with a VR headset for full effect, otherwise a handheld device set for the highest resolution possible should suffice. Although not marked as such the vast majority of the videos are suitable for children as they are designed to enlighten kids about the wonders of Antarctica.
