I became a first time mom in November of 2022. Like many moms I was so excited to have my first child. I knew my life would be different now being a first time mom, but no one prepared me for what I was about to experience. As if being a new mom wasn’t challenging enough, I was also struggling with postpartum depression. Going through my own healing journey from postpartum depression, I became passionate about helping other moms. I knew then this was my life calling. I was finally able to see the light and understood I had to experience this first hand to help other moms. My goal is to create a safe environment where we can discuss all things motherhood. The good, the bad, the ugly and all the things we had no idea about. I want to bring awareness and provide support to other moms. Postpartum depression feels very lonely, dark and like there’s no end. I want to share my story with other moms as a survivor. I want them to know they’re not alone, and there is a way out of the darkness.
