With a goal of creating a future of weight acceptance where health and happiness are a priority, education and advocacy group Obesity Matters is committed to promoting game-changing dialogue, ending fat shaming and inspiring health and happiness. Obesity Matters kicked off the launch of the organization with its interactive 'Eat, Play, Love' series of weekly events, which was well received by our community and we have received requests to continue the series. Our next initiative is the 'Exercise Kindness' project where we have collaborated with Raptors 905 to create a 15 minute interactive workout session video designed for students to stay active and practice kindness with themselves, their friends and their communities, either in class or at home during these challenging times.
