About

The Circular Trade Analytics group is a global, highly multidisciplinary forum for academics and practitioners interested in moving towards an economic system which supports human dignity and civilisation in the context of the biosphere - where healthy psychological, social, economic and environmental outcomes are all considered important. Disciplines we draw on include network science, complexity theory, agent-based computational economics, promise theory, commons governance, and legal design. Specific tools include credit clearing, producer credit, mutual credit, alternative and regional currencies, time-banking, and local voucher systems. As the name suggests, we are particularly interested in how these systems can support a circular material economy. We have regular closed meetings, and host public events on our Meetup page (see link below), recordings of which are uploaded here. Mutual Credit Services (https://mutualcredit.services) is the host organisation for the CTA.
